Why this directory exists
Manufacturing software is hard to compare. Vendor sites describe the same kind of tool in very different words, many products are sold only through quotes, and AI features are added to old and new products alike. Plant managers and engineers end up spending hours just working out which tools solve the same problem.
FactoryThink lists AI tools for manufacturing by the job they do, with a short description in our own words and a link to the official site. We leave out rankings and prices, mark what we could not confirm, and keep sponsored placements clearly labeled, so the directory is a starting point for your own evaluation.
The directory is run by Zwings LLC. Corrections, removals and new tool suggestions are welcome by email, and a person checks every request before anything changes on the site. We revisit listings regularly, remove tools that shut down, and update the maker name when a vendor is acquired and the change is public.
How tools are chosen and described
A tool is listed once we have confirmed that its official site is live and that it does what our description says. Each tool sits in the one category that fits its main job, even when it covers several. We don't publish scores, rankings or prices, because industrial software is usually quoted per site and changes often.
Makers can ask for a correction or a free listing at any time. Paid placements are marked Sponsored and never change what we write.
Right now that is 54 AI manufacturing tools in 8 categories, last checked 2026-11-03.
Makers can submit or claim a listing for free. A person checks every request before anything changes. Paid placements are marked Sponsored wherever they appear, and they never change what we write about a tool.
Corrections and removals
If a listing is wrong, or a tool has shut down, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
